Lincoln Park Zoo

Conveniently located just a few minutes north of downtown Chicago, this family-friendly attraction offers an incredible array of animal exhibits and habitats to explore and discover. You'll find species from all over the world including rare mammals, birds, and reptiles, and kids will love the monkey and sea lion exhibits. Best of all, admission is always free! And with so many events and activities happening all the time, it's a fun, affordable outing for families.

New Animals

  • Where can you eat at the zoo?

    Whether you a looking for a sit down meal or quick snack, there are a number of casual dining spots During the warmer months the Patio at Café Brauer is a great place to sit in the sunshine and sip a beer while you enjoy a tasty breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Concession stands include Park Place Café, Café at Wild Things, Eadie Levy’s Landmark Café.

  • Where can you park?

    There is a zoo lot located at Fullerton Parkway and Cannon Drive. Parking is free for visits under 30 minutes, and then rates start at $20 and up. City buses also serve the zoo if you don’t have a car.
